LISA TAMARUA

Lisa comes from a whānau renowned for their service and commitment to Te Hiku communities. She started in her role as a Kaipūpuri with the Iwi team of the Whiria Te Muka partnership immediately prior to Covid-19 lockdown and hit the ground running. Lisa has come to the initiative after a background in local hospitality and catering services and is enjoying the change of working environment with the Whiria Te Muka team, seeing whānau making positive changes while also allowing her to delve into her taha Māori. Lisa is a Mum of four and when not at mahi enjoys playing netball, beaching and spending time with whānau.
